Words of Wisdom for Success
“Everything you can imagine is real.”

Picasso had the right idea. Winning in our imagination is a HUGE key to manifesting our destiny. What we focus on, we draw to us. What we fear diminishes both our imagination and our courage.
There are countless opinions about what we should and should not attempt. Most dangerous are the inner critics who would silence us with their lies. They are not to be feared, they are to be faced and overcome.
Wanda wandered into my karate school with her husband. They asked if they could train with us. As black belts, we invited our visitors to stay. I couldn't help but notice that Wanda's kicks were weak. I wondered how she ever got a black belt.
I soon got my answer. Wanda shared she was in a wheelchair due to polio as a child. At 17, she had the desire to learn karate. Schools turned her down. She kept searching until an instructor took her in, wheelchair and all. Seven years later, she was out of her wheelchair and awarded a black belt. Her persistence paid off. She didn't take no for an answer. Wanda wasn't about to let someone's “no” become her excuse to stay small.
How will you answer the calling to follow your dream? No matter how large or small, you will encounter resistance. It's not bad; in fact, it's strengthening you.
When you're up against it, step back and regroup. If you don't see a way through or around your obstacles, don't give up. Focus on what you can DO instead of your limitations. Reach out to those that will encourage and mentor you. If you can't find them, become your own mentor.
Writing your goals down triggers your brain into searching for what you want! What you focus on appears.
Keys to becoming unstoppable:
1. Stay in equanimity. Life is a game. When you fall down, get up!
2. Get out of your way. Silence the critics that would have you stop just short of your goal.
3. Pause. Reflect. Engage your inner wisdom. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
4. So what if your unstoppable intention gets derailed?
5: Take heart. Expand in the face of contraction. Find allies giving honest feedback.
6. Success starts on the inside. Mistakes are part of the game.
